David Douglas Athletic Training

David Douglas High School Girls Basketball coaching staff along with Scots Academy Volunteer coaches will be leading David Douglas school district athletes in several training sessions this Spring.

This is open to all David Douglas Students and Athletes.

SPRING 2019 is here! HOOP SOURCE GIRLS Spring League 2019 start in a few weeks!

Community Basketball is done, where do we go from here? Join your David Douglas and surrounding east side communities to take on Portland toughest clubs.

About Our Club: We are a group of parents who, just like you, want better basketball for our girls. We partnered with DDSD community basketball and formed a year-round program that included off-season Spring and Fall league basketball. 
About our Coaches: We have skilled trainers and coaches with years of experience in youth & high school level play. 
About our players: 
Competitive, Athletic, and Fierce. Our girls come from several David Douglas schools and surrounding areas. You've seen them on the courts and in the classrooms.
Our Goal:
 Raise, fierce, competitive, & confident Women through building better basketball and stronger communities

GAME DAY INFO: 
  1. This is tournament style basketball and is very competitive. 
  2. We compete in the D3 / D2 division
  3. Game sites vary every weekend and are found throughout the Portland Metro / Vancouver Washington area
  4. GAMES ARE SCHEDULED EVERY WEEK and are available every Thursday before the game!
  5. There is a daily entrance fee at each game location

    Thanks For Registering for Scots Academy Fall 2018

    Thanks for registering for Scots Academy Fall 2018. We appreciate you and your childs involvement in the David Douglas Community. This program was and continues to be guided by our desire to provide a competitive, community based program that keeps our kid active and involved in their community. 

    Here are things to remember
    Payment:
    * Payments are due September 8th
    * Cash must paid to directs
    * Checks must be made out to "Scots Academy"
    * No refunds after September 14th or if teams dont meet roster sizes

    Roster
    * There are no tryouts
    * Roster spaces are filled first come first serve
    * We try to accommodate every registered child. In the event we no longer have space on a team, Scots Academy reserves the right to
    1. exceed roster maximum sizes and offer reserves spots with no guarantee for play time.
    2. place player onto roster with an open space.
    3. if payment has been made, offer a refund MINUS processing fees
    * Roster size is minimum 10 players:, if teams do not meet minimum, Scots Academy reserves the right to do any of the following
    1. combine players base on grade level and/or skill level
    2. dissolve the team and provide refunds on registration fee MINUS process fees
    3. dissolve the team with NO refund to players, if after the first league game (September 22, 2018))
